Refund Policy

The Real Estate Society (TRES)

Effective Date: May 12, 2026

At The Real Estate Society, we are committed to creating elevated networking experiences, educational opportunities, and professional events for our members, sponsors, and guests. Due to the planning, coordination, and operational expenses associated with these experiences, the following Refund Policy applies.

Event Ticket Purchases

 

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all event ticket purchases are non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Networking events

• Private screenings

• Conferences

• Workshops

• Mixers

• Membership events

• Collaborative hosted events

Failure to attend an event does not qualify for a refund, credit, or transfer.

 

Sponsorship Payments

 

All sponsorship payments made to The Real Estate Society are final and non-refundable once sponsorship benefits, marketing, promotional materials, or event preparation have begun.

This includes:

• Event sponsorships

• Marketing partnerships

• Vendor opportunities

• Promotional collaborations

• Advertising placements

Sponsor benefits are considered fulfilled once branding, promotional exposure, event inclusion, or marketing efforts have commenced.

Membership Fees

 

Membership fees paid to TRES are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a specific membership agreement or promotional offer.

Memberships are personal and non-transferable.

Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

 

In the event that TRES cancels or reschedules an event, registrations may be transferred to a future or rescheduled event at the discretion of The Real Estate Society.

TRES is not responsible for:

• Travel expenses

• Hotel accommodations

• Parking fees

• Lost wages

• Other incidental costs related to event changes

Transfer Requests

 

Ticket transfers may be permitted on a case-by-case basis if requested prior to the event date and approved by TRES management.

Approval is not guaranteed.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

 

By completing a purchase through TRES, you agree not to initiate unwarranted chargebacks or payment disputes for services, sponsorships, registrations, or memberships that were provided or reserved.

TRES reserves the right to deny future participation, memberships, or event access to individuals or businesses who file fraudulent or abusive payment disputes.

Exceptions

 

Any refund or exception request will be reviewed individually and granted solely at the discretion of The Real Estate Society.

Approval of one exception does not establish precedent for future requests.
